V U L T U R E

How long am I here
In the layers of dust
Upon this earth
Lord Universe I
Am foresaken
In this chair
Clotting blood
Round moon
This life is pain
Yet no suffering
Today I am the living
Nesting bird chirping
Tomorrow I am the dead
Vulture flying
Eyeing the foresaken
In sickness and in health
This earth,  thy home
