Vase

I was at the market, in the vase aisle, although I was not looking for a vase.
I had no use for a vase. In fact, I was better off without one.
I went to the market because I was bored and had the day off of work.
I was looking, browsing, but never touching, as I knew i would not buy anything.
I never touch what I do not own.
I saw many fine vases, none of which were astounding but dull either.
I saw one vase though, one vase that I had to have.
It was unlike any other vase.
It was full of color and yet at the same time had no color at all.
It was a simple shape but It was very complex In a way that most would never understand.
As I said before, I had no use for a vase.
I still bought this one, I had to have it.
Its beauty was astounding to me.
I did not buy it so it could hold flowers or pretty pebbles.
I bought it because to me, I could look at it all day and never want to be rid of it.
I bought it because when I looked at It, I was happy.
If you were looking at it, You would see a boring, little, poorly made vase.
You wouldn't understand why I would think It’s special.
You may even be repulsed by such a thing.
But what I see is something completely different.
I see life, happiness, and color.
Maybe beauty is in the eye of the beholder or maybe you don’t know art.
You are probably wondering why I am telling you a story about a vase.
I am not telling you a story about a vase.
In fact, this story has nothing to do with a vase.
