VE Day

One and all may well be in isolation
but today is very special I have to say 
So celebrations across the Nation
are reminiscing VE day
When Victory in Europe seventy five years ago
from our heroic soldiers that fought in the World war two
Our thankfullness we bestow

Bunting with flags and forties songs 
are playing
As people still keeping their social distancing are foot-tapping and swaying
Our pandemic today with it’s threat to human existence is put into perspective when one imagine’s the fear from our brave fighter’s resistance
