Poem -

The Veneration

I carry a wondrous poison in my veins
A strain of strength
Mingled with the sap of weakness
Set and ready to cause acute dystrophy
Precious necrosis in the ducts and tissues
Scalpel true, to lift and sever
The sickly spirit from the dessicated
Uninhabited heart
Trance induced by sensory deprivation

Mind so cut and numbed
Hollowed out to carve the hearse ethereal
And my penance
My reprieve lies shrouded, hidden

In my final breath so violent.
