Well done Richard my five star vote. If more people set their mind to this exact way of thinking, the world would be a better place, but it is like I was saying to a friend earlier everyone seems to do us a favor simply for the favor they are expecting in return. Which is similar to living to use and take advantage of 90% of those we ever encounter, but then you have the 10% who give kindness just because they enjoy the peace it brings, I wish more people could be like those I speak of because if so none of the happenings that you mention in this write would even have happened
If you help others you help yourself. I believe in the values of the film " It's A Wonderful Life" where if you give without expectation when you encounter hard times people will rally to your assistance.
Evil does not understand the notion of giving freely and only wants to take and divide. Evil does not wish for unity, cooperation or the triumph of values that bring peace to this world. Evil only wants to impose its will on the good.
Evil, like the insanity of Islamic State, MUST be overcome by the majority for mankind to find paradise.
