Visionary

Visionary

I read with fear

yet I vision such deep beauty

a contrast sometimes

invisible to the eyes and heart

with a rumbling of sarcasm

I do not fear life itself

I simply fear the lines of each page

yet to come.

Sounds a bit like you are picturing the writer of this verse as being Nostradamus. I mean what must it be like to see visions of the future.
Then again it may just be the feeling we all get as words form themselves on a page. Who really knows from where they come. I know I sometimes feel that they aren't mine, that they are granted me.
Anyway sorry for rambling. Must be the mood I've woken up in.
I like "invisible to the eyes and heart." That is a deep line and resonates with me. Thank you for posting. Have a lovely day dear Shirley. 🌹

Good morning dear Bernie, it simply is about having been through so much even in the darkest of times (like we all do) that although I have survived those moments I'm forever hoping they have passed for good. Maybe brightening my pages yet to come yet obviously not knowing as I nor anyone can see the future. Thank you so much, I had a feeling that line you would enjoy Have a wonderful day. 🌹
