Visionessence: Inverted Mirrors

A dash of emotion,
A hint of character,
A sprinkle of romance,
Deliciously prepared:
I walked the aisles and seen a thousand faces,
Convincing images they are,
But if it were not for Visionessence,
Lost indeed would I be, as are they;
My values are not for faint-hearted envy,
Or for the false of intentions,
For before I can show you,
You must truly ask if you are ready to see;
There are those things which lay hidden within,
Masked by the outside of all,
Displayed with bright color and fancy decor,
To seduce the normal mirror to show the shell,
So what is worn will seduce the eyes of many;
But not mine;
There is a gift, an inverted mirror, they say,
That takes backwards the image to display,
Showing the inner instead of the out,
What I see now I daren't doubt;
The sweetest of girls show to me,
Some are deeply scarred and afraid,
And even though she may be out-of-league as they say,
Somehow she knows that I understood her,
Unlike any other will or will ever;
Men of confidence appear as feared and strong,
I can see within them the worries of their status,
The fear of nonacceptance and loss,
The hatred of accountability for going unnoticed,
So they mask in shame;
Yet it is those who are weak in appearance,
That are strong in mind,
Girls afraid of unattractive features,
Shown to be the true cases of natural,
Tamper-free morning beauty,
And men who aren't of the pressures of pleasing crowds,
That are strong of will and mind;
Yet I admit and do confess,
The rules here are often in context,
Thoughts of such things are found in recession,
Shown in the Inverse for better expression;
Now you truly can see what masks are worn,
What a normal mirror cannot show you,
And what matters most inwardly,
For who dresses the coffin with a dying body inside?
The body inside must first be dressed,
And perhaps the body may never need that coffin;
Take heed of such a thing,
Spoken by he who fits in no category,
But has accounted to both groups in true measure,
For they, the higher-rank claimers,
Have also sought council with me in quiet,
To inquire of such things,
As have those who are not of the ranks,
But of mind and true confidence,
So I say the same things to them as to you,
"For all else is but essence and truth,
that separate the vain from the honest;"
