VODKA

The building was comfortably placed
One block, juxtaposed
To the "SYSTEMBOLAGET"
It was a place
Which always commanded
Long lines
After all
People had to have their vodka
Beggars, shoppers,
Simple vagabonds,
Pretty ladies,
Priests and poets,
Prayers to God,
Street venders,
The boisterous boy,
The man at the bus stop......
It was winter after all
Flakes fell like Christmas ornaments
And music danced through the air
It seemed as though our local, town bear
Would come to town to shake our hands
And morning would bring what the wildlife would send
After all,
The people had to have
Their Vodka.........

Wow! Vodka, a venue for a variety of people. As such, we soar from it intoxicant, and we gather with strangers as if we have known them their whole lives. This may be a good thing.
