Poem -

Voices from the void

Voices from the void

 I sit still

I fade into dark

Waiting

A child of forever

Ohh great God

Where art thou

In this room

In this silence

My soul escapes

Its mortal tomb

And laughs at my

Frowns and tears

Outside life's knowing

Am I truly perceiving

This strange Spector

This mocking jester

Is it me

Or some strange entity

I didn't know myself

And this self realisation

Reeks to death

Of a Greek tragedy

Cold in here

For my breath is visible

So therefore I can't be dreaming

And so I stare

For I hear voices from the nothingness

Echoes from a far

Distant

Strange unknown

I can almost

Reach out and touch

I'm going

And so

I let go

And fall into the void
