The Vow
The Vow
For those I love I make a vow,
Until I die I promise now.
If any harm comes to your child,
My wrath released into the wild.
Not a spoken word required,
Gun of vengeance has been fired.
To but know the pain you felt,
My toughest sentence easy dealt.
They will say, it wasn’t right,
He won’t ever see the light.
From now until the end of time,
He will suffer for his crime.
I hope we never see that day,
Promise kept I made him pay.
Hope instead we watch them grow,
This vow they never need to know.

Hi Cherie, I am great thanks. Scottish weather is truly epic, with all the wind and rain it keeps me indoors. On the upside I get more time to sit and write once my Shannon is down for the night.
I recently discovered the song Vengeance by Zack Hemsey. It was on the soundtrack for The Equaliser. It really moved me with its power. It is the reason for this write. Glad you enjoyed it. Hope you are well and still making magic with your talent.
