Wales

There are beautiful woodland sites in Wales, 
That can beat just any place you name.
There are hilltop peaks so high, 
You can fairly reach the sky.
Our scenery is the very best we claim.

There are gentle rolling hills in Wales, 
Descending to our valleys rich and green.
With many a gentle whispering streams,
At night  lit up by countless moonbeams,
The best farms in the country here and seen.

There is history galore in Wales, 
For here were many battles fought and won.
It is our birth-right as a nation, 
A  proud cause for celebration.
Hopefully where independence will be begun.

There is steel coal and gold in Wales.
In textiles our industries rank so extremely high.
And every quality product that is made, 
Is the very highest finest possible grade.
This land of our fathers helps fill the world's supply.

You can fish and walk and swim in Wales.
For tourists it is a dream come true, 
There are clear lakes on which to sail, 
And many a wondrous woodland trail.
There is not a sport we can't offer you.

There are many churches in Wales.
Than in any place across the country wide, 
There are schools for every need, 
Which are all very fine indeed.
And in our colleges we take a lot of pride.

So there's everything you want in Wales
It's beautiful in Winter Autumn or Spring, 
We love it's snow capped scenes, 
And its endless Summer greens.
We love it dearly, for it has everything.
