Walking Through Life

Deaf to the poor man's cry
For a little piece of bread
Walking through life
Just waiting to take
Another painful breath
Walking through life
Waiting for death
To come and take you away
With the next strong wind
Walking through life
Never stopping to help their fellow man
Just to lend him a hand
Walking through life
Without a worry or a care
Even though you know people will stare
Because you have no
Particular home that you own
You are just simply
Walking through life
Alone
