WALLS

Seems love can't hold this faded
room
Whose walls appear to know all
truths
It mourns you love
Just as
I do
The cover fades now,
Faded blue

No movement in the curtains
there,
So still they be in lifeless air
Most sad of all...
These pillows... bare,
No shadow print or rogue stray
hair

Seems love can only mourne and
pray
Close shut a door and stay away
But I...too filled with death's grey
wit
Find every day
I comeΒ
To sit

Being Me

The emptiness is loud in this poem. The silence of the room must be deafening. One word came to my mind when I read this β€” gone β€” that word sprang into my mind and then I felt my heart sink. Great writing which undoubtably comes from a very raw place. Hugs xx
