Poem -

Walls of blue.

Rotting rose.

I can't withdraw my heart from you
for all the likes of trying
Inside I'm painting walls of blue
And watch those flowers dying

Where amongst those roselt thorns
Do I place my hands to bleed
I was bound to follow you, no matter
Where you'd lead

Yet shadows come and resting here
Seems so easier to say than do
For all my thoughts keep running back  and make there way to you

I loved you dearly in the light and heavens knows how hard I fell
the lonely days without you near
Seem a darkened kind of hell

I wish you had of stayed with me
Our union was of blessings sort
And in my eyes you were the key
To all the love I had been taught

So as you say goodbye my love
To never kiss my  lips or nose
Forever is a longest time, so I bid farewell the rotting rose

And in our parting keep such love
It may comply to all but true, I have my heart and in my eyes it still belongs with you.
