War Child

W A R C H I L D
What does that word mean to me?
People killing, People dying
People screaming, People crying
Children with guns, Children with knives
Children suffering, It shouldn't be their lives
It isn't right, It isn't fair
They shoot, They kill, Without a care
Boys and girls, It shouldn't be their lives
They should be happy, not handling a knife
And the worst thing of all, They shoot without thinking
They shoot so quick, without even blinking
They get drugged so much, They lost their control
Of their actions, Their body and soul
They even sometimes kill their family, Their own mums and dads
Their brothers and sisters, And that's so sad
W A R C H I L D, I'll tell you what that word means to me
Poor, Poor children who have lost their lives, Learning how to handle a knife.
