War Sudanese Style

War Sudanese Style

War
  Has left me RAW
      These burns
 From my captors
    On my legs
        My soul
 War
  Left me
      RAW

      Red
Blood
        In the night
    When they came
  With machetes
      Here in Sudan
         War
Has left me
 RAW
      RAW
  RAW
       When in the night
          The men came
 And took my wife
       Raped
             The night
   The black night
       Under a white moon
    The war
   Has left me raw
    RAW
 When the rebels took
       My children
When the men burned my village
      For all I worked
And loved
Then war
    The war
 The war
Has left me
  RAW
     RAW
  When everything was taken
          Sudan
