Poem -

War is War?

Rise a fist to the battle,
Watch the blood as it splatters.
People die from left and right,
People fight all through the night.
Lives are lost while freedoms given,
Is this Country worth its living?

Guns are fired in the dark,
Dogs in the distance bark.
Horses run down the fields,
Men fight, what does it yield?

Medals for those that lost their lives,
Medals for the ones that survived.
Honoring for killing others,
Being honored for being killed.

War is War! We just say,
What it we got involved one day?
Families broken and loved ones lost,
We never really know the cost.
