Poem -

“Was that really you?”💙

“Was that really you?”💙

“Was that you whispering words when I heard those whistles in the wind?”

I was stretching my senses to listen thru the darkness that was dimmed

I could have sworn that it was the sound of your voice calling out my name

But betwixt the echoing of my raw emotions, was good old Mother nature playing a game?

So I sat down on a rugged boulder upon the rivers edge

When something touched my left shoulder, I almost stumbled off that ledge

Oh my giddiant could this really be you?

It felt like a prod with a walking stick just like you used to do

Maybes It was just my imagination because I was feeling sad

Yet I chose to really believe that I was getting messages from my Dad…
