Water

A line sits on a blue background

A line of wood, sail, and rope

To spears shoot forward towards the throng

Their motion never stopping

The collide and smoke flies through the air

Wood, sail and rope disappear

The blue will take them to the bottom

A yellow boat is silhouetted against the night sky

It explodes and illuminates the night

The Spanish, Cubans, or a third party

No matter

The blue will take them to the bottom

Black bottomed

White topped

Every window lit

Every porthole bright

A ship is sailing in the night

But fate can tell the sad tail

Of it smashing into ice

The blue will take it to the bottom

From the coast of Ireland

A boy stands

He sees a ship so full of honor

Then it rocks

Twice

And slowly tips over

The blue will carry it to the bottom

A Harbor sits untouched and fair

Like an animal grazing in the field

Planes dive out of the clouds

Like flies in the heat of the day

The animal cannot lift its tail

The blue will carry them to the bottom

The blue takes it all
