Water

We need water to survive
So, why does something that we need so badly kill us?

Even so, the water is just that tempting. 
So, you step into the water and you walk into the water the way you'd walk down the block of your street which used to feel oh so comforting that now you dread to walk down. Walking down the runway of stares and people. Though this is just water, no one is there. Just you and your mind.
Even so, the water is just that tempting you to walk.

You walk, and walk, and walk
You walk till your feet cannot reach the bottom of the mossy sand anymore.
Even so, you keep going because that water is just that tempting.

You go till you can't anymore. Till your lungs are full of water and you cannot breathe. You're drowning but ever so peacefully as your fill of water. You are the water, the deep sea. full of fishes and life.

Even so, now you're drowning.
You're drowning because the water was just that tempting.
