Singing in the rain đź’¦

The heavens has opened, it is raining cats and dogs
Pouring in the ponds with the google-eyed frogs
Flooding Farmer’s fields, turning them to bogs
As my welly boots are squelching to the sounds of the sogs
But just like yon Gene Kelly, I am singing in the rain
Whilst drip drops are gurgling filling up the drain
And I know too much wet weather can be a pain
Driving one demented, feeling the strain
Yet I am happy, contented as can be
This Autumnal outburst doesn’t bother me
So let good old Mother nature let off steam, for us all to see
Where there is water there is life wouldn’t you agree…
