Waving through His Window

Waving through His Window

He stained the world through my eyes,
and surfed my tears to fairer shores.
If but to cheat the flows of tides,
in ebbs of pain he feared for more.

And left us all one day to mourn,
to seethe,
to doubt,
to reinvent...

The lure of friends who never were,
save through the ink spilled with my pen.
Through tales of love that none have heard,
I stoked the hope of hearts again.

And in his light that never was,
I found the life I never had.
A loving home,
a thoughtful dad.

A viral plot steeped deep in shame.

A boy whose friendship never came,
but for the cast that slings his name.
