Poem -

We are all humans.

We are all humans.

He walks through the halls,
with spits of venom struck at him.
There hiss’s of rejection still ringing through his ear.
Faggot.

Head down, hood up, headphones in.
Distractions from the cruel and vile words.
But yet there are only so many distractions in this world.

Both girl and boy mock him tease him,
he is beaten, battered and bruised,
and yet he still walks on one foot in front of the other.

So what if he’s gay, bisexual or straight,
black or white,
tall or short,
fat or skinny

We are all still humans, humans with rights.
