Poem -

we don't know love

we don't know love

I knew we were doomed when I caught myself smiling at you hopelessly,
and all in the same moment, I caught your eyes fluently avoiding mine.

You might say that my love evolves too quickly.
If you did,  I would tell you that my love knows no time.
Yours does.

and now we're both alone.
