Poem -

WE FALL

the nights awake me with their
calling
and then, I am tearful
the black fingers mauling, and
gnawing the respite, till the white
bones show through
tis these times I circle son,
looking for you, and

it is then that I walk, pace...
till my soles are worn down
sanded on floorboards where a
moon paints her frown
we dance circles together,
cast our shadows on walls
and when the dawn feathers
wake, well,
we fall son, we fall
