Waves

Waves

Dive into my skin.
Swim against my current,
Lose yourself in the deep
Never coming up for air.

Make me enough.
So I may soothe your aching bones,
The one to lick your wounds.

Heal me when the tide runs out,
Hear me shout over your waves.

See me in the moonlight,
Flaws exposed
Like shells on shore.

I bathe in your waves,
But you'll always roll out.
