We Kiss Again

We Kiss Again

Oceans roar,
And sunshine starts to poor

The lanterns in the midnight sky
Fade away into
The eyes of you

We swing on the hammock
As our families panic

Laughing at their reaction
We hold hands,
Walk back to the beach house,
Off the sands,
And onto the couch

Our love trumps all of them
So we kiss again
We don't even care,
That they caught us
In our skins
They may have a problem
But we'll toss it in the ocean
We don't care what they think
So we kiss again

The next day
Our parents say

Why is wrong with you
There's nothing worse
You could possibly do

They try to keep us apart
But a year passes by
And we lead with our hearts
We find ourselves back
In that same old spot

We never cared what they told us
We knew we had true love
That was when we watched
The fireworks go up
And we kissed again
With even more love
