We Love You Cindy Stowell

We Love You Cindy Stowell

On December 5th, the world lost a sweet soul, for her body lost its fight;

Colonic cancer had invaded it, with it’s promise of periled plight!

She was only forty-one years old, with a future solid as could be;

But fate stepped in and changed all that, dealing her a different destiny!

Her education was impeccable, she earned her P.H.D.;

Her thesis dealt with nanocrystals, in her field of Chemistry!

Young, brilliant, and so beautiful, she amazed all of her peers;

Her research and discoveries, made our heroine quite revered!

But then a couple of years ago, she received a deadly blow;

A screening of her digestive tract, showed cancer down below!

She took all the prescribed treatments, chemo, radiation, and strong pills;

But none of them could stop its march, she had six months to enjoy some frills!

The thing she had always planned on, was to compete on Jeopardy;

But when they found out she had but months to live, the producers said “This must be”!

They expedited her appearance, she won six times in a row;

You’ll see her in “The Tournament of Champions”, in her stars eternal glow!

All of her winnings, $106,000 were donated to cancer research, so that others might not have to lose their lives as she did!

My Dear Brother Tony,

We are avid Jeopardy fans, and watch it every day, because it is a wonderful challenge for the mind. We had heard about this poor lady's plight, and when her reign began a few weeks ago, we pulled for her every day.  Remarkably, although there were several close calls, she won six times in a row, qualifying for the Tournament of Champions, which sadly, she did not live long enough to participate in.  Her life, played itself out far too prematurely.  Thank you for your lovely insights.

Peace, Love and Rockets,

Larry xxx

Hi Kimmy,

It was so tearful to watch her on Jeopardy, knowing that she had already passed away.  It was so nice to see her faced with such adversity, yet still able to smile and win six games in a row.  Thank you for your kind words.

Peace and Love,

Larry xxx
