We salute you Daffodil 🌼

Sunshine, yellow daffodils swaying
in a south easterly breeze
Glistening, buttercup colours
Amidst the copse of old oak trees
Such a splendorous array
A glorious golden delight
An abundance growing randomly
Illusions of darkness to bright
Perfection in bloom
Mother nature’s presence
Springtime early enchantment
Blossoming pleasance
Oh dainty, delicate daffodils
With your winsomeness ways
Dancing in the shadows
Brightening the dreary days
Ne’er ever disappear
From England’s green and pleasant land
E’er gathering exquisitely
Amongst weald woodland
‘We salute you daffodil’,
Your slender green stem
With your striking blaze of yellow
Each individual fragile petal
Is so magically mellow

Jill, after reading such a classy and beautifully woven poem I've come to the conclusion you must be Welsh or be of some Welsh bloodline and heritage in your family gene pool.
Clearly somewhere along the lines in the past some unknown family has purchased a sack of coal.
Welsh coal.
For after reading your splendid Daffodil homage poem that is the only answer and logical conclusion.😂
The national flower of Wales.
Five stars but should be countless more and you really nailed it with your well versed imagery and imagination.
I wish you well and thank you for sharing and also enjoy the sunshine and these warmer and comforting days ❤️
Ahh no im not welsh lol 💕💙💕
