Poem -

Love

Love

In a way, we both were dangerous but that was okay

Because we complimented eachother and our demons would play

Into the night, together they would dance

And eat away at interference like it never stood a chance

Together they were strong, as strong as strong could be

And violating innocence never occured to me

So when I was questioned, why would I bother

To feel like I'm drowning while floating in water?

I felt I was okay, even when thoughts were bent

When the forest went up in flames, I always felt content

And the river would flow and crash rough against the land

But underneath it was simply soil and unruffled sand
