Poem -

We Will Always Remember

On this day of remembrance,

watching past events unfold.

The wounding of our nation,

by horrific acts foretold.

Thousands who were in New York,

on that dreadful day.

Amidst chaos and destruction,

with their lives would pay.

One hero of fight 93,

who touched our very soul.

was the one who was heard to say,

" Come on guys, let's roll ".

And for the 184,

at the Pentagon that day.

Should have died in battle,

instead of that terrible way.

So as we mourn for those,

on that day in September.

The words of a healing nation are,

We will always remember.
