Weakness

Weakness

We all have a weakness,
Some different, some like,
And these can discourage,
As they take a bite.

It's always just waiting
To tempt us once more,
But when we give into,
It cries to want more.

The lie of the tempter,
He won't tell the truth,
For he won't remind us
This damages, too.

It cuts deep in spirit,
And then wounds the soul,
So let's take a minute
To think about toll.
