Wedding

I dreamt of it since birth 
as years passed I realized it didn't have the appeal I thought 
The fantasy an illusion 
Reality couldn't prevail 
I dreamt of sparkling champagne in greens and pinks 
Guzzling down my throat like no tomorrow 
My name embezzled in every napkin 
guests fawning over the wedding of centuries 
But alas my man is taken by another 
More beautiful than me in nature
My dreams gone ....shattered like glass
