A wee something on my observations of the Fireworks in Edinburgh from home.

A wee something on my observations of the Fireworks in Edinburgh from home.
There you are right on time
Each night in august I catch you as I sit.
If I was close to you my fear would hit.
How pretty are your colours
All exploding into air
Are the cost of these bangs really fair?
Thousands see you, up up as you flare
Many in awe as they stare into the sky.
For me I would merely cry.
You've heard the lone piper many times before.
Like the stillness of the air before you tare.
Destroying the sound on edinburgh's mound.
Sometimes I hear the muffled noise whilst sitting on the ground.
So safe across the water I light my candle.
Peace in my head I didn't hear your destruction.
Light in my life not that twisting knife.
