flowers paled into masonry
kneeling in deep thought
something moved in the corner
my eye an image caught
it was her, my love..I saw her
beneath the yew tree
ribbons in her hair,
A North wind blew
across the cemetary.
I didn't wish to startle
I didn't wish to scare
my love standing there
in  heavenly beauty
I whispered her name
upon the breeze,
upon perfumed  flowers
in  evening primrose air,
in  wings of brown sparrows
across minutes and hours
in worldly things to care
but she doesn't hear...
she doesn't see me
she just knows I am here
cold as ice
warm for her
