Weight Of Soul

So alive,
A bundle of harnessed energy,
Light brilliantly shines in sparkling eyes.
Full of love,
All kinds given and received,
Life in every aspect,
Simply drawing in the air to breathe.
Before realization,
Peeks too soon,
The wilting of flowers,
That were just in bloom.
How light,
Dimly fading on dark shadowed years,
Becoming less fearful,
Winding down the gears.
Something so unnoticed,
Our anchor to this place,
Starts to float away,
Lighter than air,
No physical touch can embrace.
Growing tired of the cell,
Evaporating soul,
Left an empty shell,
Weighted in this world,
Until the time of letting go.
