Poem -

the weight in your design.

It's not that I'm not thankful
Nor that I wish it away

It's the weight of this heart
I long to give everyday

Will you hold it
While I rest

This heaviness constantly
Within my chest

Your design god
You know it best

I must confess
my heart I most detest

pounding longing
my hollow crest

do you desire
The weight of this love
My chest

breathless breathing
The ultimate test

You designed it God
this weight you know it best

who shall hold my heart
the weight in your design

while I rest
seeking silence

a hole within my chest.
