Weightless And ImpenetrableĀ

Weightless And ImpenetrableĀ

I must admit I am consumed by Other Things
And join my voice to the choir, feigning Hope at the lip of Oblivion
To sing escape and wonderment, selling lemonade to prunes
With every starlit catastrophe, doing cartwheels I can deal with.
And a squadron of unmarked stars
Like darklings with night glitter shining impetuousĀ
In so much senseless Sun.
My bushels creak underneath Wait.
I harvest disturbed joys and reckless epiphanies.
Words are kingdoms of perpetual distinctions
As fuzzy as a whimsy, wearing snakes in church
To rehearse an uncanny Faith
Weightless, and ImpenetrableĀ
Ā
