Big Ben rings out to welcome the new year 
No noise on the streets can't hear a cheer
Where are the people and where is the fun 
Don't they know a new year has begun 

The virus of course is the one to blame 
New Year this year certainly isn't the same
People in London are celebrating inside 
Rules and regulations they try to abide 

Nobody knows what this year will bring 
Will Charlie boy finally become our King 
Will normal life return to us all once more 
Heartache along the way that's for sure

2020 has been for certain a pain in the ass
