WELCOME HOME

WELCOME HOME

IT WAS EARLY DAWN
WHEN MY FLIGHT ARRIVED
AFTER A LONG AND EXHAUSTING TRIP,
BUT MY MIND REMAINED FIXATED ON YOU.

THE WALL OF SEPARATION
WERE ABOUT TO FALL,
UNITING OUR HEARTS, MINDS,
BODY AND SOULS
IN A COCOON OF LOVE.

THE MORNING BREEZE CARESSING
THE MULTICOLORED CURTAINS,
CAUSING THEM TO WAVE AT ME
WITH A RHYTHMIC DANCE,
AS MY TIRED FEET GRACED
THE STAIRS.

THE UNLOCKED DOOR SUGGESTS
YOU WERE ANTICIPATING MY SHADOW,
FALLING FROM THE GLITTERING EYES
OF THE CHANDELIER
HANGING IN THE LIVING ROOM.

SPRAWLED ACROSS THE BED
LACED WITH SATIN  SHEETS,
WERE YOUR HALF DRESSED BODY
RECLINING IN THE ARMS
OF YOUR LOVER.

THUS!
MY WELCOME HOME.

WILFORD BARKER.

Hello Wilford...

Glad your better...

So am I...

Lessons learned indeed...

I didn't fight over it...

I said...

Bye...

Go...

Then they don't want to...

What's up with that?
