Welsh speaking + Lovely
For Shaun who also knows this particular Welsh season ๐

I see spring this morning
I welcome her in
she is soggy, bedraggled and
piteously thin,
She
Is Welsh speaking, lovely,
she choir's with birds, so that
Haunting wind music, through
valleys, is heard
for
She drips in a deluge of raindrops
from high
Yet her smile remains beauteous
I've high hopes she'll bloom
And dry
M ~

Beautiful, love your last words, hopeful that we will all become dry from this never ending rain. I do adore these less hot seasons my favourite is actually autumn, but that's because summer is usually in the 40c range and it lasts 4/5 months if we are unlucky more, some love the heat but I have British blood so give me the British weather any time. Love this dear Marion. Happy Friday beautiful poetess. ๐น
Shirley I fear you would be dissapointed...it's warm rain and cold rain these days...no discernable seasons to speak of...a few days of sun a few days of frost...if we're lucky. Winter is my favourite season...but somebody dumped me on the wrong continent...hey ho...๐ thankyou so much x
What an amazing write love your work x

What a beautiful comment...thankyou Jayjay X
Marion thank you for bestowing this fine poetic gift and yes, spring is my favourite season and forever will be.
You mention the word smile and that is such a magical word to associate with spring, works so well and speaks volumes about you.๐
I'll never let the sun go down without saying thank you to someone and without admitting to one's heart that absolutely no one gets this far, alone.ย
ย At times in life, our own light goes out and is rekindled by a spark from another person.
A time to pause and think, then show gratitude of those who have lighted the flame within us.
Thank you for the spark.
Thank you for that flame.
And diolch yn fawr for this and for being you Marion.ย ๐

ย
Hello there Marion and yep, I could never miss this damp spring lady!
Andย sod's bloody law springs (no pun intended) to mind there!!
Welcome to Wales in so called flaming June/summer and don't forget your brolly!!! Ho hum!
And at St Fagans we often experience four seasons in one day, for it seems to have its own climate system!!!
Also watch the Welsh news tomorrow evening for ITV and the Beeb are visiting to film a new exhibit.
And to be broadcast, on the day.
All according to the wise ones, and their minions who will also be on screen!
Thanks again Marion and hugs at you again.

Spring here in Ireland Marion, I felt the heat of the sun against my brow the other day, it was short lived, rain drops, ice crystals, storms to follow, you would think we would be use to it.
Ha ha...we has torrential rain yesterday, a summer day today and I think its going to snow twm lol. Thanks so much NE x
As always lovely. ๐บ
Like the weather lol...and magically, we had a very beautiful sunny spring day today!! Thanks John x

Bless the both of ya .. I mean You n him :) x
Me and Moby? Thankyou...I prefer Shrek though. Shaun is the only fellow Welsh woman that I know of on here that is used to our ridiculous rainy weather. Mind you, you're only really one tree away from Wales aren't you...and presumably the rain. Thanks Nev x
addendum .. I love most of the Welsh I have ever come across too .. and yes to each of our M's reply to mine x
Well now...you wouldn't dare say no to a dragon would you ๐๐
No, not on your Nellie x
