What a best friend is

Most people beleive that a best friend is the
person that hugs you and tells you "it's gonna be alright"

Well contrary to popoular belief, I don't believe that.

I beleive that a real best friend will set you straight
& tell you "you know what, it's not always gonna be okay, not
everythig will always be alright, but I'm here and we're here together,
we're in this together. So anything that is ever "not okay" will be something
we do together..." speechless, you say nothing. Best friend replies to your
silence "Cause I'm not here to coddle you, I'm here to help you
brave a storm... No matter how long it last, no matter where it came from. 
When you are in a Tsunami, I'm your life jacket, when you are falling I'm your
rope. I am not here to coddle you, I am here to be your storm.
