What are you?
What are you?
A Soul enmeshed in matter
Traveling untold worlds
Searching time and space
To find your place.
Who are you?
The sum total of all your experiences
"All you touch and all you see is all your life will ever be."
Where are you?
You're traveling through the caverns of your mind
Hoping there within to find
Answers to the questions
Reason and rhyme for your existence in time.
Where are you going?
You're traveling on even standing still
Spinning through the cycles
And up through endless space
Dancing the spiral dance
A part of the cosmic trance.
Breaking illusions
You're never alone
A cell in the body
Fighting with the Ego
Shattering illusions.
Keynote for Scorpio
"Warrior I am
And from the battle shall emerge
Triumphant."

Hi RuT. I enjoyed this poem. It certainly puts things in perspective, the atoms we are made from and how we are hurtling through space at 20 miles per second.
I also love the Pink Floyd line in there, It's one of my favourites. I'm a big fan.

Hi Syd, thanks for reading and your comment. Yes, we are stardust. I@m a huge Floyd fan too. x
Some say you are what you eat, Ru T.
If that's the case then I'm bananas.
I eat lots and lots of bananas.
As for where I'm going, I prefer to take the roads less traveled. There are fewer people there to get in the way of my ultimate destination (wherever that may be), and there's an element of danger and surprise involved as well.
It makes life's journey much more exciting.
Excellent poem.
Keep those creative juices flowing free...

Hi Dean, better be ultra careful abut what I eat then ;-) Wouldn't want poison. The road less traveled is starting to get crowded. We are all one ultimately. Separation is an illusion of the mind but I get where you're coming from and I know what you mean. Ru x
Bananas are rich in potassium, Ru T. I'm not so sure I'd consider potassium a poison, but...to each their own.
As for those roads less traversed and travailed, I'd sure like you to point out to me where all those people are you mentioned so I can avoid them. I rarely see anyone on the roads I take, and that suits me jusssssssssst fine...
Hi Dean :) yes, I meant in general, not the bananas :) As for the road less traveled, don't worry my friend. I'm here in the UK and we're a small island and I'm trying hard to avoid parasites on the road ;-) Have a good evening my insightful friend and wonderful writer.
