What do you see when you look into these old eyes?

Do you just see crows feet!

Or the warmth in my smile?

Do you see the strength in me?

Or just the weepy tears!

Do you see devotion?

Or just plain old age and fear!

Do you see the love I have for my family?

Or do you just see pain and arthritic knees!

Do you see the protection I give to those that I hold dear?

Or do you see weakness and get annoyed with my deaf old ears!

Do you see the love I have beyond all measure?

Or do you just see a drain on the possessions that you treasure?
