what happened

he always knew what to say,

he always knew what to do,

he never waited for me to remind him 

ITS OUR ANNIVERSARY,

before i can even say happy anniversary he beat me to it

oh...mine what HAPPENED.

my life with him was figured out

our future kids, our future house, our future job even our future disagreement

oh..mine what really happened.

Now days goes by without us talking and its never dull

now days goes by without me thinking of him and i become sad

what happened

people like to define such cases as life happened

what life?

because it was there even when things were good

what life?

the one that we have opened for other people to come in as they please

what life? 

the one we promised each other that it will always be us and nobody else

what happened is the "word" we realize when things are already messed up

what happened? is the word we use when we realize there's no "us" anymore
