What I am

Wondered and Pondered

Trying to make sense of it all

Creation I cannot hinder

But why be created not to please man’s eye

I thank Thee, for it is a unique gift

If it is eternal beauty that I posses

Its dwelling palace is deep within

But man is blind

So called Homo sapiens

Wise but blind

How can ye judge from a shell?

The verdict, always two sided

Resembling the soul

True but eternal beauty

Is not seen with the naked eye

But by love it is visually vivid

My far from flawless legs, potbellied waist

Frail fingers and feet

Might do more than offend

And the comments might still echo

My body may defile me

But won’t define me

Things you utter did not make me

And so I deduce that

I am awesome

But not free of my flaws

So I am…  FLAW-SOME
