Poem -

What if....

What if?

If you had a loved one pass away, and God gave you one chance to go back to before they died, to see them one more time. Would you say yes?

But you can’t save them, and you can't tell them they will die, you can only see them one more time.

Would you say yes? Could you, do it? Could you see them, hold them, kiss them one more time? Just so you can say good bye one more time?
Just so you can feel the hurt and pain of losing someone you love again?

Not me I couldn't do it again.
I could not look in to her eyes, and watch them as I say goodbye.
Or to hold her in my arms again just to have her ripped away again.

To know that I can’t save her, so that she would still be here and not have to die. I just could not do it.
I'll just take the hurt and pain of losing her once then to have to go through it again. And just deal with the everyday pain of missing her.
