What is in store?

As I stand upon the shore,
oh the things I hope to explore,
But then the questions do arise,
oh what will be the new years surprise?

As I go upon this journey,
oh the thoughts that do a-pour,
But then the safety of my prize,
doth gently wait for me to arise.
