What is Love?

What is love?
What’s it like to fall in love?
Between two people in love,
For it indeed comes from above.

They do nothing to deserve it,
It indeed must be a gift;
For only God could give,
Such love to stop them going adrift.

On their wedding day they promised,
To be faithful and true;
To cherish and show mercy,
For always ever and anew.

So back to the original question,
How can we define love?;
Only God can provide the answer,
For His love perfectly fits the glove.

God loves marriage to prosper,
Between two people so much in love;
His divine plan of marriage,
Really began in heaven above.
