What is Love?

What is love?
A heartbreak, shattering into a million pieces
A thumping in your chest when they are near
Butterflies going crazy in your stomach

What is love?
Waiting by the phone for them to call
Smiling when they smile at you
A caress of the cheek, a touch of the hand

What is love?
A gentle kiss to the lips
A spark that spreads like fire through your body
Holding hands walking down the street

What is love?
Late night visits, crawling through the window
Sleeping soundly with them beside you
All worries and fears fade away

What is love?
